Theo of Golden by Allen Levi
Theo of Golden by Allen Levi
Theo of Golden by Allen Levi is a novel about creative generosity, friendship, and the quiet acts of kindness that connect a community.
One spring morning, a stranger named Theo arrives in the small Southern city of Golden. No one knows where he came from or why he is there, and he asks far more questions than he answers.
At a local coffeehouse, Theo discovers ninety-two pencil portraits of Golden’s residents, drawn by a local artist. He begins buying them one at a time and returning them to the people they depict.
With each exchange, a story unfolds, a friendship begins, and a life changes. Through these encounters, Theo of Golden explores giving and receiving, seeing and being seen, and the importance of wonder in a purposeful life.
